Khamenei’s representative in East Azerbaijan’s Payam-e Nour University said, “Today, in this country, we need a special hijab command center!”

“Today, there are mixed events held in halls and restaurants, and the question is; have these halls received permission from the Islamic Republic?! Why aren’t these centers placed under any supervision?!” he asked.

Mojtahed Shabestari, Khamenei’s representative in Tabriz on an event focused on improving hijab conditions in Iranian universities, said, “Religious education programs must be implemented in universities. The second solution to promote a culture of hijab and dignity in universities is through gender discrimination. Despite all the existing problems these measures must be implemented in all the country’s universities,” he added.

“Women must appear in universities with simple clothing! The last method is the formation of disciplinary committees for violators. In such a case if a student refuses to abide by the regulations, they will face suspensions or other disciplinary measures to teach a lesson to others,” he added.
